Terms of use
Effective 24 October 2026
Bloom peer is operated by BG-dev, an independent developer, reachable at support@bloompeer.com. These Terms describe the service you agree to use; read the privacy notice and storage explanation as well.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum required where you live. If local law requires adult authorization to agree to these Terms, obtain it before use. Bloom peer does not offer under-13 or parent-managed accounts. Keep your credentials private and use an account you control. An ID may be a username, email or phone number; choosing an email/phone ID does not mean we verify ownership of that address/number.
Respect other people
Only communicate through accepted contacts. Do not use Bloom peer for harassment, threats, exploitation, sexual abuse material, scams, spam, illegal content or interference with the service. Do not impersonate others or violate their privacy or intellectual-property rights. You are responsible for content you send and for having the right to share it.
You can decline requests and block a contact. Use Report this person or Report message, or email support, to report abuse. The app prepares a draft for you to review and send; opening it alone does not submit a report. We review user-selected evidence and may restrict or remove accounts for violations. We do not scan private messages on the server. We aim for an initial support response within three business days and prioritize urgent safety reports. See Support and safety.
Messages, calls and availability
The server is needed for accounts, contacts and connection signaling. Messages and call media use WebRTC; a TURN relay may carry encrypted traffic when direct connectivity is unavailable. Without an accepted, surviving temporary server copy, both parties need overlapping reachability. When enabled, undelivered text and receipts may be held on our server under the storage policy; this mailbox is not end-to-end encrypted. Network restrictions or service interruptions can delay or prevent communication. Unsent messages remain on your device until delivery is possible. Do not rely on Bloom peer for emergency communications.
The supported messaging features are text, delivery/read status and local history, with voice/video calling subject to device permissions and network access. No attachment, forwarding, reaction, cloud-history or general background-message-notification capability is promised.
Local data and ending use
Signing out preserves local history for signing in again. Clearing history and deleting a message act on this device only; they cannot recall uploaded mailbox copies or remove another person's copy. Account deletion revokes mailbox access; remaining queued copies expire under the storage policy. Device/browser data loss can permanently erase local history; no server backup of message content is provided. You may delete your account in Me to remove the live account and related records. Device settings and other devices' copies can remain as described in the privacy notice.
Changes and your rights
We may update the service or these Terms and will publish material changes with an updated effective date. Your mandatory consumer and privacy rights under applicable law are not excluded. Contact support about a problem, complaint or account request.
