Messages prefer encrypted WebRTC. When enabled, undelivered text and receipts may be held temporarily on our server over HTTPS; the service can read queued content. Your history and drafts stay on this device.

Getting started
Three steps to hello.
Create an account
Choose an ID and password. Your ID can be a login, email address, or phone number.
Add a contact
Search for a Bloom peer account and send a request, or share an invitation code.
Message or call
Open a conversation with an accepted contact to send text or start a voice or video call.
How the connection works. The server handles registration, sign-in, accounts, contacts, invitations, and signaling needed to establish a peer connection. Messages prefer WebRTC; enabled temporary delivery can hold undelivered text and receipts on our server, normally up to one day per accepted copy. The mailbox is not end-to-end encrypted and may lose queued copies on restart. Retries can create fresh copies with new retention periods. Clearing local history cannot recall uploaded copies. See storage details. Call media travels over WebRTC; history stays on each device. WebRTC uses STUN to find direct routes. A configured TURN relay can carry encrypted traffic when a direct route is unavailable; connectivity still depends on the devices and networks.
